Dear Janie, We’re truly sorry to hear that you’re unhappy with the service provided. We always strive to deliver the best possible experience for our customers, and we regret that you feel we fell short in this instance. To clarify the situation for others, upon arriving at your home, you initially requested that we mount your TV on the left side of the room. After inspecting the wall, we informed you that due to the outlet's location and the additional work required to conceal the cords within the wall, the cost would increase significantly. Understanding your concerns about the budget, we offered an alternative location on the right side of the room, where the outlet was more ideally positioned. You agreed to this suggestion, and we completed the installation as requested. After the job was finished, you reviewed the work, signed off on it, and made the payment. Unfortunately, after our business had closed for the weekend, you contacted us, expressing dissatisfaction not with the quality of the work, but with your feelings about the apartment and the layout. Despite our efforts to reach out and resolve the matter the following Monday, there was no response until two weeks later, when we were threatened with negative reviews unless we returned to redo the installation at no additional cost. We always aim to accommodate our customers' needs, but it’s important to note that changes in preference after a job has been completed, signed off, and paid for, especially when those changes involve significant additional work, do require a new service agreement. We hope this clarifies the situation and encourages a fair understanding of the events. We remain open to discussing any concerns further in a constructive manner.

If you have the courage to post this online, at least let me share the facts so everyone knows exactly what happened: **The Incident:** 1. **Initial Agreement:** Mr. Jacob Yacoub initially requested to dismount the TV at the old location, transport it, and remount it at the new location. A day before installation, he canceled the transportation part. 2. **Lack of Preparation:** Due to the cancellation, we didn't come prepared to transport the TV. 3. **On-Site Changes:** Upon arrival at his apartment in Ashburn, VA, he insisted we transport the TV despite his movers being present. Under threat of canceling the installation, we reluctantly agreed to transport the TV to maintain excellent customer service. 4. **Pre-existing Damage:** While dismounting the TV, my technician noticed a mark on the bottom left of the screen but proceeded with the work. 5. **Crack Incident:** At the new location, we heard a crack, the TV was never dropped as Yaniris Hurtado says in this review, (the TV was in his living room, and we were in the garage picking up our tools )and Mr. Yacoub claimed the TV was broken. The crack was suspiciously at the same spot as the pre-existing mark suggesting it might have been damaged before we even touched it. 6. **Insurance Claim:** We assured him we had liability insurance. However, Mr. Yacoub lied to the insurance agent, claiming the TV was dropped. Due to conflicting stories, the insurance did not cover the case. 7. **Replacement Offer:** We offered to replace his old, heavy TV with a newer model backed by a Best Buy warranty, but he demanded the same outdated model, no longer in production. 8. **Unreasonable Demands:** He tried to deceive us by suggesting a different, more expensive model. We refused and agreed to pay $1200 upfront and $1200 the following month. 9. **Additional Demands:** After the initial payment, he demanded we sign a document crafted by his lawyer, adding $1850 more to the payment, making the owner personally liable. 10. **Final Payment:** On June 6th, 2024, we paid the remaining balance in full. Despite this, he and his wife posted a review labeling us as unethical. 11. **Reputation Attack:** We paid a total of $3050, yet they still attempt to tarnish our reputation. They claim to be followers of Jesus, but their actions were deceitful from the start. 12. **Recommendation**: It is strongly advised to avoid doing business with Jacob Yacoub, his wife Yaniris Hurtado, or Clear Choice Services LLC (website: https://www.makeaclearchoice.com/). Instead, we recommend Nanmarc Carpet Cleaning Services, who have consistently delivered excellent service to both our office and the owner's house. For more information, visit https://nanmarc.com/. **Bonus Note:** After a heated text exchange with Mr. Yacoub, we started experiencing hacker attacks on our website and emails from Ashburn, VA, and middle-eastern IP addresses. Special Offer: For this inconvenience we had with Shady Jacob, we are willing to give a 20% discount on every service you book on our website using the keyword SHADYJACOB at checkout.
